The Coming of Jesus Christ

Description

These studies make use of the three-fold aspect of Advent: 

1. Getting ready for the coning of Jesus, the birth of the Christ child
2. Preparing ourselves for the coming of Christ into our lives
3. Looking expectantly to the coming of Christ at the end, the return of Jesus Christ

Reflecting on the Advent readings for Year B, the four weeks will cover:

1. Looking to the future – the end of the age, waiting in hope
2. Words of assurance – signs of hope, assured hope
3. Preparing for the Messiah – getting ready, joyful hope
4. God’s covenant and promises – on the way, confident hope
